Well Mr Collins's proposal was very self centered. He went on about why it was necessary for him to have a a wife "I am convinced that it will add greatly to my happiness" see the use of "my" is very personal to himself showing him to be a quite selfish human being despite the fact he is asking Elizabeth to spend the rest of her life with him.
Mr Darcys first proposal to Elizabeth is highly derogatory but unlike Collins it is actually focused on Elizabeth, but of course not in the way she would like. “In vain I have struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you." yes he does tell her that he loves her but it is told in such a demeaning manor which is quite similar to Mr Collins's proposal.
Of course Mr Darcys second proposal is the opposite of both the other two, its romantic which is precisely what the other two lacked, yet what Elizabeth most desires. True love.
“You are too generous to trifle with me. If your feelings are still what they were last April, tell me so at once. My affections and wishes are unchanged, but one word from you will silence me on this subject for ever." says it all really :)
Mr darcy's proposal you could tell was out of love but mr collins was self centered and based out of financial security and not out of love.
Collins gives her all the reasons why he wants to be married (mostly just to please Lady Catherine de Bourgh) and it might as well be her. He also tells her why the marriage would be convenient for her.
Darcy on the other hand lists all the reasons why marrying her would be unfavorable to him but he tells her that he loves her too much listen to his better judgment.
Similarities:
They both come from men she dislikes or has little regard for.
They both think that marrying them will be to her advantage.
