If you answer a question and the *question* itself gets deleted (not your answer by itself for breaking the community guidelines or whatever), do you then lose the 2 points you gained from the answer? I've looked up similar questions on Y!A about this and they all give different answers.
If just your answer gets deleted for not following community guidelines, I know you lose points but how many? I've heard everywhere from 2 to 20.
What about when a question is automatically deleted (NOT by the asker or moderator) after it's put to a vote and voters select "no best answer"?
I asked this before and I still got conflicting answers so I'm trying again. Please only answer if you know for sure!

If the answer is not a violation you do not lose the 2 points even if the question is removed. If your answer is a violation reported by the community you lose the 2 points. If the answer was removed by Yahoo or you lose an appeal you lose an additional 10 points.

Nope. If you deleted your own answer then you lose 2 points. If the question is removed then you do not lose 2 points. If your answer was reported and Yahoo! denies your appeal then you lose 10 points.
Yes
if a question that you answer get deleted you still keep the points
