I'm 11 weeks and 1 one day pregnant with my first baby. I was between 100 and 105lbs before I got pregnant at 5'2". I started showing at around 6 or 7 weeks. I've been in maternity clothes since 9 and 10 weeks. Our first Ultrasound is tomorrow on the 7th. We know for a fact I'm not farther along, or that we miscalculated. My husband is in the Army and visited me on the time of ovulation. This baby was planned. My family does have a history of twins BUT we are really young (Very early twenties) for that to be a BIG concern. So, my question is, is it normal to be in maternity clothes so early? On that note, the line from my belly button to my nether region has been visible since 8 weeks. Are twins something to be expected from this? Can my fast growth tell the gender(s) at all? What do you think.
Some additional info:
I have been showing clear symptoms of pregnancy since four weeks.
Morning sickness has been mild, usually nausea with occasional vomiting
Breasts were fine until 9 weeks, now sore with deep blue veins around the areola and slightly purple nipples (usually pink)
Shortness of breath nearly always
Certain smells and sounds make me sick to my stomach
CONSTANT fatigue
swollen feet and hands
RLP since 6 weeks
Occasional tingly feeling where the baby is since 9 weeks

I showed VERY early with my last baby ... what concerns me here is the swelling and shortness of breath. Best of luck with your ultrasound ... hope all goes well :)
Early pregnany in the first trimester can cause constipation which will make you look bigger than you are. I have been experiencing that myself.
Well, it could be either twins, or bigger baby. Good luck!
