I'm Caucasian, the father is Korean (100% I think). When my son is born, will he look well, Asian, or is it possible he may look a little more white?
Did your child's features/coloring chance a few weeks/months after birth?
Update:I was just wondering if he skin would darken after birth or what. (Mine obviously never did lol)

My husband is Filipino and I'm white. My son is a good mix of the two of us. He has beautiful caramel colored skin, big, almond shaped eyes that are almost black and brown hair. You can tell he has asian in him but is not fully asian. I've been asked if he was adopted before. He's just beautiful (of course I think so!).
He was much darker when he was born - his hair was black and his skin was darker (maybe a bit due to jaundice). He looked straight up Filipino. Now that he's two he's taken on more of my features but he's still a good mix of us both.
Asian traits are dominant over caucasian traits. There is a great possibility that your son will look more like his father. Have you watch the show, "Jon and Kate plus 8"? The mother is white and the father is 100% korean. All of the children look more like the father but they are beautiful.
My grandson, now 2 years & 2 months is half Korean and
half Caucasian. To me he looks more Asian than Caucasian. This may be only because I am
Caucasian. To a native Korean he may look
more Caucasian.
Either way, he sure is a handsome cuss.
Well your son will definetly have Asian traits such as the eyes but he might be fairly white... it usually depends, genetics is a funny thing.
A good friend of mine she's japanese and married to a caucasian guy, and her children are a beautiful mix!! The both have the very distinctive eyes, they're white with very dark hair ... they're really nice.
So you'll have a beautiful mixed baby =D
The korean gene is usually more dominant. The baby will be mixed race of course but he will probably look more korean. Have you ever seen Jon & Kate plus 8?
my daughter is mixed. Im white and her father is black...when she was born, she acutally looked asian...she had jet black hair that was just straight as can be and stood straight up, and she was very pale. almost like a china doll. Now she's 6, and has dark skin and dark straight hair still. She didnt really start getting her color until she was about 4-5 months old.
well i'm mixed race-white irish dad and black caribbean mum and my hubby is 100% indian. he's not really dark but is darker then me and we just had our 2nd child. he is much lighter then our daughter was and even has blond bits at the ends of his hair?we wonder where it came from-my dad's side! whereas my daughter' hair was jet black and straight like her dads when she was born but now at 5 its brown and very curly like mine. she's not too dark but does go very dark in the sun even if its the winter sun. and im guessing my son will darken up cause he already is darker then when he was born, they change so quickly and don't stop till they're older maybe 7 i find. but every kid is different and i personally think mixed heritage kids are the most gorgeous ones around!!so either way i'm sure ur baby will be gorg!!!
I am half black and half white and My husband is white. My son takes after his dad all the way! But he got my dark hair and only got my dark eyes after a weeks. Now his hair is a dark brown instead of jet black like mine was when I was born
I am white (fair hair, skin and eyes) while my husband is Hispanic (medium skin tone with brown hair and eyes). Our daughter was born with fair skin, light brown hair, dark blue eyes which are now looking dark olive...we'll see where they end up. She's literally a split mix of the both of us. Again, we'll see if that changes.
100%...you think?
Though the Korean gene is dominant, it's a crap shoot with the odds in the Asian features favor 12:1.
Good luck.
