I've been thinking about trying a menstrual cup and was wondering what advice you ladies who have tried them can give me. I am in my 20s with a fairly heavy period...I'm not a virgin, but I've never had children, and I have been using tampons forever, so I don't have any issues with, you know, sticking things up there and all that. I have tried the instead softcups and I liked them ok, but found that they tended to leak when laying down/sleeping, which I've heard is because they don't suction, so I feel like I'm ready to try a real cup. What advice can you give me about using them? What brand have you used and what do you like and not like about it? Any other things I should know? Thanks!

For advice i would just say patience and to relax when learning how to use a menstrual cup. Usually there is a learning curve and people have trouble, as i did when starting out. Just have to remember to relax. I use a Diva cup and i dont think there is anything i dont like about it. I have no problems. I love my menstrual cup. Its makes my period so much easier, care free, cleaner, and comfortable.
