If you get to level 5 which starts at 5000 points and then ask questions you can be taken to your previous level because it cost 5 points to ask questions. So if you ask a dozen questions you will lose 60 points.

x5 points each

60 total

so 5000 points level 5

minus 60 points

is 4940 points

This would be temporary

if you answer questions which you would gain 2 points.

pick the person who answer your question 3 pts

if your answer is chosen as the best 10 pts.

yes, your levels go up or down according to your points. If it went below 5000 you would go back to level 4

Best thing to do is answer questions to make up for the pts you lose by asking.....you will go back down to level 4, and remember that you get 3 pts back for picking a best answer instead of letting the question go to vote.

Got no idea about it but try to check out the leader board and you can see how many questions per day you can post in order to stay that level 5???

I haven't tried, but I've assumed this is the case. I don't ask questions until I'm secure at my new level.
