diablo 3 pre-download problem?

So I just pre-ordered Diablo 3 through Blizzard and doing so is supposed to allow me to download the game so that it's ready to go on May 15th. However, I am having a problem with the blizzard downloader. Everytime I try to download the game, it does nothing and I eventually get a "tracker is not responding" message. I've done my research online and have tried any and all suggestions I have found yet nothing works. Contacting blizzard tech support was useless as all I received was an auto response telling me to check the forums. What doesn't make sense is that I downloaded the open beta last weekend and ran the game perfectly. Any ideas?

So since it just ended, maybe they are doing all the changes to the client before releasing it to public

but you can use walkthrough:

Are you behind a firewall? You might need to make an exception. To do this, go to start, search program and files and type in "allow a program through Windows firewall".

Next, click allow another program in the bottom right, click browse and navigate to the Blizzard file and click OK.

It's also possible you're using the wrong region or have an older client updater. Check out the link below which includes direct links to all the clients for all regions for Diablo 3.
