Okay, so I ordered a duffel bag on eBay and the seller is from Hong Kong. I paid for the item on July 22, 2012, and the item was shipped the next day July 23, 2012. The tracking number is RB404099749HK and the tracking info is right here:

So it's been in Hong Kong since the 25th and it is now the 12th of August! Do you think it got lost? Also, it is being sent through Registered Mail, so is that a reason why it is taking longer? Also, the weather in Hong Kong has been stormy, so is that another factor as to why it's taking so long? I want to recieve my bag before August 21, so I can take it to school, but I really don't know! Any thoughts?

The seller is good, shipped within 24 hrs, but post carriers aren't.
It has nothing to do with weather. Item has already reached US, and its the USPS's side problem./

On HK post it already confirmed item left Hong Kong on 25th, which should have reached US on 26th ( 12 hrs flight )

It is obviously USPS lost the parcel at the airport or just not updating its database.
The Hong Kong part was done correctly, but USPS is not doing their job.
You should contact the seller to file a claim against USPS.
For me I will avoid USPS and upgrade to EMS or UPS, FedEx if I want a more stable delivery time.
Last few times i ordered anything from hong kong it takes an average of 3 weeks to get here in canada. The bag was sorted on july 25 so i think it should be here this coming week.
You expect tracking to be proper and up to the moment normally...That is a false expectation. Monitoring is a farce. It's incorrect more than it is correct. Existence was once some distance better before tracking. It should tke as a minimum a total of three weeks to get to you. It has to head through customs and that may take as much as 2 weeks now and then. Loosen up and give it time. Nothing else you can do.
