The you-tube video was done on a dedicated video camera and not a point and shoot camera like the one you are looking at. Big difference.
As you simply bought this digital camera for Christmas, AND you did not drop it, then do not anything rather then to go back it to the shop for alternate or refund. The digital camera is faulty. Do NOT check out any self fix guidelines on this illustration.
