Popular Toyota 4 cyl engines?
Nissan has the popular SR20DET, KA20 and RB 4 cylinders motors that most people like to tune but what does Toyota have besides the six cyl 1JZ/ 2JZ?

Toyota had the 3S-GTE that was a very nice one, you can compare that with the SR20DET.
If you want to evaluate engines, you can use a car performance simulator[1] to virtually compare both torque curves under a common platform and decide which one is better
