the printing test ran fine. but when i tried to print something in color it comes out very lightly where you can barely see it. is it out of colored ink or what????
If the print test ran fine, and the text on the test page is OK, then the printer is not at fault. The print test will test the capability of the color printing. More likely it is something to do with your source document. Try printing something else in color and confirm that it prints OK. Note that most printers have a print head clean function. Use it if the print test does not come out as expected. good luck.
Ok are you sure the printer test was as intended? Everything that was intended to print in the test including color showed? Some printers just have clogs in the printer that can be cleared by finding the printer icon (tiny image of the printer) in the lower right (if it's hidden hover over the arrow to expand the icons) then right click and look for a clean printer head option then try again.
