I recently purchased a new laptop and as with my old, installed advanced system care on it. This program has a feature which is supposed to clean up the registry but I have recently been informed that messing with the registry is a very bad idea. So I did a clean my pc scan using advanced system care and it made some chages to the registry. How so how do I restore it to its original state?

most registry messer-uppers have a restore function.
reserve use of any reg cleaners to an almost dead system. They WILL end up removing something they should not remove and break ur system.
You dont need to restore the registry settings unless something is going wrong with the computer. Advanced system car is actually pretty good and will scan for broken or missing pathways and shortcuts. Like i said, i wouldnt worry about doing that unless theres a need to. If there is a need to, then go to their site and check the FAQ or support section to find out the process for doing a restore.
