Skyrim... can't play, no wagon loads in intro...ideas?
I've patched and even updated my graphics card. I've scoured the web for a similar problem but only find the one where the wagon can't enter the gates. In my case the wagon doesn't even load, and we all just sit there with horse noises going but not moving. I meet the recommended system requirements. My computer is a few years old but it is built for gaming and plays current games just fine, like guild wars 2.
Update:No mods.
Where can I get unofficial patches?
PPS lol this game has got to have the most bugs in an intro. evar.

Do you have any mods installed? Try deactivating all mods in your load list and see if it works then. If not try going to your Skyrim directory and move the scripts folder somewhere else like the desktop. Start your save then and if it works begin reinstalling your mods one by one. This could easily be the issue if you are returning to the game now as many mods, even a few popular ones, have been abandoned since launch.
If none of that works try doing a clean install of Skyrim. Make sure to delete your Skyrim folder which is usually found in Computer/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim. I'd also recommend you grab all the unofficial patches as they fix many of the bugs that Bethesda has missed/ignored to this point. You could even try to download and use a save game that has passed the intro but the problem will likely persist in new games if you go that route.
