Why not ask some of your friends about their hobbies? Maybe after seeing their hobbies, you'll find one that appeals to you. It doesn't have to be unique & original to start with; that happens after you put your spin on the hobby.

I engrave glass. You can buy a Dremel and some diamond and stone bits at Lowes. I've been doing it for about 10 years now. With practice you can even make some money at it, It takes a steady hand and artistic talent.
