I have a 07 Armada and the TPMS light flashed last when going home for about a min then it went on steady. Does that mean that it’s not working right? I have had this problem about 3 times in the past 3 months, and every time the dealership has the same excuse, "it’s just the weather"- I live in Alabama and there has NOTHING wrong with my tires. The pressure is always right where it was the last time they reset it. I need some other people’s ideas so I can fight a fight and sound like I know what I am talking about!! Because they are just going to keep resetting and putting me off if I don’t put up a fight for them to look closer into what’s wrong, "my dealership is not that great!" Or, if there is really nothing you can do, is there a fuse I can just take out? Or can I take out the bulb (the light really annoys me) and how hard is it? A TPMS is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of! It’s all just another hassle for the consumers!

Its a problem for most brands I sale Chevy's and they are all acting up with the weather change. Cold tires that heat up cause a pressure change so the system triggers. No you cant shut them off with out causing issues. I would have it checked by another dealer if your dealer is not very helpful. You can thank the government for the tire monitor they required it after the tire issue on fords. you say the pressure is the same but does it match the pressure that is on the door label as to that your tire pressure should be?
