Being at a higher weight yes perfectly normal, don't worry about baby they will get nutrients if you eat or not. Im not sure what weight would be healthy for you because there is no height here. .. Just make sure you drink lots of water eat 6 small meals a day and take extra vitemins, it is important to keep yourself nurished because as i said baby will feed even if you don't. If your bmi is a low normal or your underweight for your height this would be very alarming then. When i was pregnant with my 1st i was boarder line low bmi for my height and i got the worst morning sickness all day every day... I became extremely anemic after my baby(iron deficiency ) and went into premature labour at 32 weeks because my daughter wasn't getting enough nutrients i was hospitalized until i had her drinking 3 boost a day and having to eat at least 5 full meals a day and still only managed to gain a pound a week. .. They finially induced me at 36 weeks to get direct nurishment into my daughter. If you don't feel right you can talk to your doctor but as long as your eating properly and taking care of yourself its all perfectly normal :) babies are smart they come when they're ready mine tried coming because she needed more. .. Good luck and congrats
Ive seen many overweight mothers lose weight in the first and second trimester.
It is perfectly fine as long as you are taking prenatal vitamins and eating enough calories.
As long as your doctor isnt worried, you shouldnt be either.
Have you had a lot of morning sickness? This might be the reason.
Im sure both you and baby are fine.
If your doctor isnt mentioning the weight loss, you and baby are probably fine.
But, to ease your mind i would ask him at next appointment.
You well gain it back an fast after a couple months
