Has anyone else encountered a problem with their 2012 (or other years) civic transmission/brakes. I just leased a new civic and was pulling off the highway on my exit, going about 50 miles per hour. I tapped the brakes and some malfunction occurred. The brakes seemed to kick in strongly on their own, and the car halted to about 10mph. I was hit from behind. I don't know it is the transmission or brakes, but this has happened to me twice now and I can't drive it because it is unsafe. Please help if you know what could be wrong.
