86 Honda rebel 250? ?
Ok so I just bought an aftermarket body kit for my Honda rebel 250. And I know this sounds really stupid but how do you put the side panles on? Do I half to take the battery cover off it looks like there's nowhere to connect it. I have the left side on. But I can't figure out how to put the right side on. Thanks for your help.

Assuming you are referring to the side-covers, they have two pegs on the back-side of them, and they fit into rubber grommets which are recessed. If you do not have the grommets, the covers will not have anything to grip into. You should be able to see the holes that line up with the pegs. If the grommets are missing, you can pick up a pair (or more) from your local dealer, eBay, or dozens of online retailers.
The part number is 83551-300-000 - GROMMET, A/CLNR HSG and you need two for each side-cover.
