Okay so me and this guy were best friends in 3rd and 4th grade. I had a crush on him but didn't realize it until one of his old girl friends showed up (he was all excited about it). Well we all remained friends until the beginning of fifth grade. A couple weeks after school had started he stopped speaking to me. I didn't know why. I tried asking him but when I went to go talk to him he would avoid me, and I asked my friends to talk to ask him why he wasn't talking to me and he wouldn't tell them either. I ended up sending a love letter to him to tell him my feelings (this was later in the year). I kind of regret doing that.

Anyways in 6th grade I ended up switching schools. I went to a slumber party one of my friends was hosting. One of the girls there told me she knew about me and the love letter and that it had spread like a wild fire. But it turns out he had liked me back. But now all I wish is to be friends with him again. I know his facebook and myspace accounts but I'm scared to friend request him because what if he doesn't want to talk to me? I just want to make amends...

Do you think I should take the risk? Am I silly for trying this? It's just that ever since we stopped being friends he's always been in the back of my head...I'm in 12th grade now btw.
