I'm planning to buy Paul C Buff's Alien Bees Flash B800 but i dont know how to set it up? like how do i fire 2pcs. B800 Flash (Main Light & Fill light) and a single canon430EXII (Separator or Hair Light) do i have to buy 3pcs. of Receiver and attached them to every unit of my flash (i think its a bit expensive if i will use this system? or is it possible to use a sync cord buy attaching them into each unit? HOW? and what else do i need to set-up by using sync cord? 2 sync cord attached to 2 B800 and the other one is attached to 430EXII flash gun (with a SLFA speed light foot adapter coz 430EXII doesnt have a PC/SNYC socket) and finally attaching the three sync cord going to my camera (EOS 50D) if there is a set-up plan or sketch it would be more understandable...

I have a white lightening flash made by Paul Buff. and when ever I have a problem, I call them! They are really nice and helpful. That's why an Alien Bee's flash is on my wish list!

I just reread your question, doesn't the B800's have a built-in slave flash? If they do why would you
need receiver's in the first place? My White lightening has a built-in slave. But I don't use it as I use just the flash and reflectors.
