A good rail contractor company?
We are looking for a company that can help with rail maintenance, as well as rail car repair. We will even have some railroad design and construction done in the coming years. Has anyone had a good experience with any company in particular? Anyone that we should watch out for?

There aren't that many out there...it's a pretty specialized field. But even within the niche there are winners and stinkers.
My uncle has a shipping company, and they use TRAC for everything.
Denver Rail Car can help you with any car building or maintenance and they should be able to put you in touch with independent contractors that can keep the track maintained as well.
They are a good company.
