A Liberal Arts Degree?
Hi, what careers can I get into with a a bachelor's in liberal studies degree? I have heard that you usually end up working at starbucks and that the degree is a waste of time, but I have also heard that it is a well rounded degree with plenty of career options. Please give me your opinion and what I would have to do to be successful in marketing my liberal studies degree

I have a Liberal Arts degree and I've gone into Public Relations. It's definitely not a degree that gets you into specialized jobs. Instead, it allows you to try a variety of jobs. Like you can be in marketing, hospitality, retail, design etc..
Bottom line is, it's what you do with the degree. Not what the degree can do for you.
The above answer is correct. A liberal studies BA doesn't train you for a specific job, but rather gives you a wide knowledge base, and teaches you to think and problem solve. You can then be successful in a number of careers. Do an internship or 2 while you're still in college to get some on the job experience.
Liberal arts degree gives you foundation for various job, Liberal arts student are not only good read but they are good communicator too as they have knowledge on variety of subjects. A liberal art student is eligible to for –
1. Journalism
2. Civil Services
3. Business
4. Writing & Research
5. NGO
6. Banking etc
It’s a multidisciplinary approach to study, you can be master of business subjects such as Advertising, Human resource, Principle of management, Financial management while learning performing arts.
