The best thing is to get your mind off of it, watch a movie, play a game, have a friend over. When i had my braces, they hurt for 2 days (sorry), what i did it lightly bite down, but thats me.
i just got braces on at 10:30 this morning....mine dont hurt but i kinda feel a tiny bit of pain... im not too sure thats what im looking for! answers and questions like these! thnx.
You are scaring me. I'm getting my braces in a week. What you could do is entertain yourself doing something else and you will forget about it. I know its hard but, you have to try.
your teeth are probably still adjusting to the feel of braces, the pain should stop soon, but if you are realllyy in pain, ask the dentist person about it.
ice cream...plain...otherwise...sorry mate...nothing that can be done just have to suck it up and endure the pain... I know it sucks but its worth it...

Your teeth are going to hurt a lot for the next week or so.
The best thing to do is take Advil or Aleve, they are anti-inflammatory.
Other than that, you will just have to bear it!
no worries! it hurts for some people. within a day or two it will get better. if the pain is still there take some ibuprofen

Call your Orthodontist and ask him for advice! You may need something stronger than Tylenol.

try some aspirin and take a break lay down it will get better i had mine for 5 years
just lay down or eat an icee
