If it's a flight less than 4 hours: you'll have to pay for any food you want, although they should offer you a free drink (like soda, coffee, etc) once. I've never bought any of their food, but it's standard airport stuff: sandwiches, muffins, chips, and so on. The prices are ridiculous, so if you can stash some chips or a granola bar or something in your bag, I'd do that.
Economy flights that are domestic (i.e. within North America): legroom and seat room are not great. If you are tall and/or a large person, you'd benefit from an aisle seat if possible. Another option is to sit at the emergency exits because there's more leg room there.
The service is fine: not bad but not excellent. You shouldn't have any issues.
In-flight entertainment: it's the back of the seat TV. You should have free access to TV shows, music and movies.
If you're flying international (outside of North America): the legroom is a bit better, and the food is good. You should get at least 2 meals.
Overall, I've had no problems with AC. You should be good to go! Have fun on your trip.
Food- You will get free coffee, juice, etc and snack mix, nothing else. You can buy a selection of sandwiches and other snacks, including alcohol, BY CREDIT CARD on the plane.
Legroom- Average.
Seats- Amazing. They do not have winged headrests, but they are new, comfortable, the colour is very soothing.
Entertainment- The best part- TV's in every seat. Touchscreen with XM satellite radio, tv shows, movies, etc.
Crew- Depends. I've had great people help me on AC flights, and i've seen the worst of the worst.
It's a good airline! Enjoy!
Depending on your Travel like Domestic or International. Also aircraft is a big factor. But here on Air Canadas site they go into detail http://www.aircanada.com/en/travelinfo/onboard/din...
United owns continental so this is all a similar, yet they at the instant are not ones that i might propose for convenience. i might pass with AirCan because of fact this is all I ought to make a call from. I constantly enjoyed halfway till they folded.
Food: typical airline food.
Leg room: What plane? It's very typical, it's not very much nor is it very little.
Service: good, I like the bilingualism.
