Don't buy fish from WalMart, they are often severely abused and come to your tank with diseases. What do you expect from a store that sells fish as well as clothes, appliances, etc. Otherwise, how big is your tank, an Oscar needs 75 gallons, any less and it will slowly die. Check your water quality aas well.
So permit me get this sparkling. It became the pleco no longer the Oscar which ate your different Oscar? if so then the Pleco will consume the recent one too. in the event that they get a style for slime coat the suited ingredient you're able to do is to do away with the pleco. At that element they actually kinda end eating the algae and purely initiate feeding on the fish's slime coat. who's "offended" and fairly swims? The oscar? if so are you specific that the Pleco isn't eating his slime coat as properly? i might do away with the Pleco and assuming you have a a hundred plus gallon tank which will abode 2 totally grown Oscars i might flow get an Oscar of comparable length. you do no longer want to get one extra advantageous or smaller than your different Oscar. regardless of if it particularly is smaller he will bully it and regardless of if it particularly is extra advantageous the bigger one will bully him. purely the way it particularly works with territorial fish. Feed the Pleco sinking Algae wafers yet particularly as quickly as they get a style for slime coat they do no longer normally end. purely a warning.
What ever happened to your fish? I have one from Walmart that developed the exact same condition after a couple weeks and a tank change.
