Im 13 and I Am Going On A Trip To Kansas City By Myself. I want a American Express Gift Card? Can I Do That? And I Can Use it Anywhere That Accepts American Express? Right?
That would be fine, but you have to keep in mind that some people don't accept American Express or credit cards in general. It's always a good idea to have at least some cash on hand. If you're going to get a gift card to satisfy your spending needs, I would suggest a Mastercard because they are accepted more places than an American Express card.
Also keep in mind, when your card is lowering in value, be sure to keep tabs on how much is actually on the card. For example, if you have $5 left on the card and you're trying to make a $10 purchase, your card will be declined because you don't have enough funds on the card to pay for the $10 expense. It will not subtract just the $5 already on the card.
