this is not as direct as the protein because a lipid is not apolymer molecule like protein but here goes a try:
fatty acid : triglyceride (for lipids)
monosaccharide : polysaccharide (for carbohydrates)
glucose : starch (example of carbo)
fatty acids to lipids
amino acids are the building blocks of proteins and fatty acids are the building blocks of lipids
