i was very stupid and was outside in 4 inch heels and fell. my ankel did a quarter turn (straight on its side) and it hurt SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad! i went inside and put ice on it and put on a cloth brace but my mom said it would not do good and made me take it okk. now 2-3 hours later it has a throbing pain goining up my leg but mainly my ankle when i step, and when i am still, the same thing happens. im about to lose my cool it hurts so bad. do i need the brace? is it a sprain? how do i ease the pain? HELP!

It's hard to diagnose over the internet, i'd suggest you see a doctor. In the meantime, these are my tips:
- Wearing a firm brace with laces might help, but I'd probably stay off it as much as possible.
- Ice 20 minutes then not, ice 20 minutes then not. Repeat 2-3xs a day
- Take Ibuprofen or Aleve.
- Definately don't wear heels or flip flops. Wear supportive tennis shoes.
