Are prepaid phones tracable?
I'm currently watching the new movie, "The Call" and I'm SO freaked out! I don't understand why the girls phone can't be traced even though she's on a prepaid phone! I have a prepaid phone, If I ever get kidnapped how will the police be able to find me?

Every phone has an unique id number, either an "eimi" or "esn" , If your parents have that number to give the police, then sure.
That is why if you buy a prepaid phone with cash at a store, no one can trace it to anyone, they can those "burn phones", this is how criminals can avoid being traced.
