I want to be an art director and plan on going to uni to study the subject. However I will need a portfolio of work to show them at an interview showing what I can do already. I have searched and searched the Internet looking for what kind of stuff to put into a portfolio but only find answers for copywriters (who have to create spec ads, based on writing) I was wondering what would someone wanting to be in the creative and visual side of the team need to put in a portfolio?
