based on Artificial Intelligence, can these tasks be solved by computers:
a. Playing a decent game of table tennis.
b. Driving in the centre of Cairo.
c. Buying a week’s worth of groceries at the market.
d. Buying a week’s worth of groceries on the web.
e. Playing a decent game of bridge at a competitive level.
f. Discovering and proving new mathematical theorems.
g. Writing an intentionally funny story.
Well, since these tasks require thinking and we don't know what might happen, my answer was No.
What do you think?

a. yes
b. no
c. yes
d. yes
e. what is that??
f. no
g.no
a) this has been already done
b) yes, this was near to my uni project, its based on sensors to calculate every car speed and distance then make a very fast reaction, also uses gps to decide where to go, there are no problems in cars, but when a kid goes on the road the computer will not decrease speed because no sensor can see a human, specially in day light and so much noise! (maybe motion detectors can, but i didnt try that)
c) very possible if right program is occurred
d) same as c, but much easier!
e) really, what does that mean??!!??
f) already done, its based on trying all possibilities fast, of course by depending on correct numerical functions
g) well, i cant tell what i dont know! but as i think, its still not possible until now, because even AI is just a code at the end, computers may learn from experience but they dont understand umans language to start writing without reference, but it may be possible in the future!
All but g. Computers are not creative, at all. But computers are very good at generating paths through a decision tree and retaining those paths -- which approximates learning. The problem with AI is defining a limit of the possible solutions.
yes. Artificial intelligence depend on probability and past experience.it not predict new situation.
