Under Obamas new reform of the whole unemployment area, as a full time student in Washington would I be able to receive unemployment if I were actively searching for a job? I work in the summers, but not during the other three seasons.
I hadn't been able to find much on this aspect but I did find one thing that did say that I was able to, but it was the only article I found that said this. Does anyone know for sure?

First of all, you can't receive unemployment unless you lose a full-time job that you held for a reasonable length of time - you don't get it just because you are looking for a job. Secondly, if you are a full-time student, you are usually NOT eligible. You can get it if you lose a job after having been fully-employed for a while if you were taking a class at the same time.
