Grilled cheese and bacon sandwich

Simple bacon and onion quiche

2ounces bacon

1small onion finely diced

2-4ounces cheese

1pt milk

2eggs

6ounces flour

4ounces butter

pinch of salt

1tablespoon lemon juice

To make the pastry rub the butter into the flour,salt. Combine this lot with the liquid ingredients using a knife or spatula to cut the liquid into the dry ingredients.Let the pastry stand for 15mins to 1/2hour to relax the dough; then roll out and line a quiche dish (20-22cm diametre).

For the filling

Saute the bacon and onion together in a small frying pan, do not brown.

combine milk and egg. grate cheese.

Fill the pastry case,first put in the sauted bacon and onion, top this with the cheese then fill the case with the custard. Add more seasoning if you fancy. Bake in a preheated oven for 35-45minutes.

I don't have any recipes, but long ago I stopped cooking bacon in a skillet.

Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil. Top with a cooling rack. Place bacon slices on the rack. They can be touching but not over lapping. At this point, you can top your bacon with anything you like - brown sugar, maple syrup, we really like black pepper. Or you can leave it plain. Put in the oven on the lower rack and bake about 20 minutes. Your bacon will be crispy and flat. And you don't have to clean the grease all over the stove top. Really great if you have a self cleaning oven.

Be careful taking it out of the oven, I have spilled bacon grease on the floor :/

This depends on what is available to you in your country!.

In Ireland we have something called 'Black Pudding' (it's kinda like haggis).

Take a chicken fillet and butterfly it (slice it open lol).

Fill the pouch with black pudding.

Wrap smoked streaky bacon slices all around the fillet and brush with butter.

Bake in an oven until the chicken is cooked.

Eat it like Homer Simpson.

Get to big pieces of whole wheat breat and put some mayo on one half then put a couple pieces of lettuce and then put some tomato on top of that with a piece of grilled chick, some salsa on top with a couple strips of bacon

This is a dip its pretty much made of house hold items you will love it and wont stop wanting to eat it.

then mix a little sour cream and mayo into a bowl

Bacon Tacos w/ Pico De Gallo...add cooked shrimp, chicken, or steak ...marinaded in lime juice, garlic, and chili powder if you want...or fried diced potatoes in salt n pepper and diced serrano peppers..add cilantro and avocado too if you want.
