Most of the private sector is small to mid-sized companies, not the corporations that the left rails against in their Big Oil, Big Ag, Big Business, Corporate Greed, Halliburton Rants.

If they did understand how most business people make their livings, they wouldn't vote for Obama or for the majority of Democrats.

Obama's so-called "economic plan" will slow the economy and lead to a deep recession if not a full-blown depression. It will kill our export-fueled manufacturing sector, driving businesses overseas, destroying good jobs in the US.

Inflation will soar harming the poor, working and middle class. This is a hidden tax on them that will keep them hopelessly mired at the bottom of the economic ladder.

Interest rates will increase making it impossible for businesses to expand, stopping job creation. Home mortgages will be difficult to get and housing starts will decrease increasing unemployment.

Obama = US decline.

We will have to revive the Misery Index, last used during the dreadful reign of James Earl Carter, bankrupt peanut farmer and sorry excuse for a president.

I am guessing that the obama democrats "neolibs" are voting for him because they dont like the idea of free markets.

To them, a "free market" means someone will make an "unfair profit", when in reality a truly free market (unlike the so called free market we currently have) prices are determined buy the consumer via consumption.

Unfortunately, the neocons do not support a true free market either. They support tax cuts only for the top businesses, who are also walled in by laws blocking any fair market competition. For example, "small oil" is legally not allowed to drill and refine - it is limited by government, who protects selected monopolies.

Funny, if government was to remove itself, there is no longer a monopoly - there cant be. Instead, there is only natural market movement. However when government has part in limiting the market, it backs one monopoly with taxpayer money - something that makes that government protected monopoly indestructible with zero competition. Yes, govt usually props a few monopolies to create the illusion of competition.

The ever evolving Obama does not have a solid written in stone plan, it changes with the daily pulse of the voters. So actually Obamas economic plan is whatever you want it to be because as soon as he hears you want it he promises it to you.

one in three tax dollars spent on welfare and food stamps etc. get to the deserving people. two dollars goes to administration. with Obama's plan we would have a huge increase in government jobs to dole out the money and the inefficiency would be astronomical. add to that a government mandated health plan and all the bureaucracy associated we would have a disaster. we need less government Obama says he will cut the government. plainly he doesn't know what he is talking about. it's that dream world again .
