There are bars or rum shops on every street corner but it depends on what you are looking for. Almost every restaurant has a bar unless it is all-inclusive facility. If you just want a beer then you can get that anywhere. As someone else mentioned you can try Ship Inn where there is room for dancing, McBride, Reggae Lounge, and Jumbies among others which are all in St. Lawrence Gap. These are the most popular ones. On Thursday it is very good in the Ship with an alternative band called Strategy. There is also a local on just before you enter the Gap. All along the Gap there are bars. There are also some good one right in Holetown. Just go through First Street and you will see. There is also Karaoke on Sundays through there as well. You can also go a little further north and try Fisherman's Pub. You can also check out the site below to read up on some info.
There are tons of tourist gathering spots, but for a bit of flair, stop in at a small corner roadside rum shop for a quick and cold Banks beer and a cheese or ham cutter. Local colour and much cheaper.
im from barbados. Oistins on fridays, the gap on thursdays, the ship inn on wedensdays, and street jams, or if you stay in a hotel then you can join the parties the hotel hosts -- if you stay up st. phillip or christ church then you canjam all night as the street jams they hold are great.
