Hey, I play the electric guitar...well not really Im a beginner and I suck. lol. But I can answer you question. The electric guitar and acoustic both have 6 strings and they have all the same chords. If you know how to play one you know how to play the other. Bass however is 4 strings and I would imagine is easier to play because of that reason. Its a fun instrument....good luck.

usually bass is regarded as "easier", and as a bassist i find it both incorrect and as an insult. it is a beautiful instrument that if you learn to love its going to love you back

the deal with bass is that its easy to learn to play, but its really hard to be good at it

guitar once you learn you set to go, but bass it takes even more to actually sound good

so yea if you really want to learn bass its an awesome instrument and i highly encourage you to
