SPECS:
Case - Cooler Master Storm Scout
CPU - intel core i5 750
Mobo - asus p7p55 lx
RAM - OCZ gold 4 gb dual channel ddr3 1333
Vid - Diamond Radeon HD 5850 1 gb
PSU - Antec True Power TP750 Blue
HD - Western Digital Caviar Green 2 TB
CPU cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212Plus
PROBLEM: Have power, fans are working, but can't get video to display Mobo menu. Not sure if issue with video card or hard drive. Have moved vid card to another system and it works fine, so doesn't seem to be the video card. No image; no BIOS deets; black screen. Monitor doesn't get any vid signal. Only response we get is when unplugging or replugging DVI, screen says "No Signal" then goes back to black. Anyone with info on these specs and reasons, PLEASE post. Thanks!

well if the hard drive was the problem, which i dont think it is, you should still be able to see the bios screen. it sounds more like a motherboard issue to me. asus are good mobo so it sounds like you were unlucky and got a dud
It is not the BIOS.
A BIOS issue is one of the most RARE problems you can have with a computer, and the symptoms you describe are more indicative of a hardware failure.
I would try one RAM stick at a time, to see if one of them are bad. From there, remove any unnecessary components from the system. All you should have connected is the CPU, Motherboard, PSU, RAM and Video card.
Now, if that solves the issue, then add parts one at a time testing each time to find the offending component.
If it doesn't, then you have isolated the issue to those 5 components.
If this is a new build, it is common to have a short when you have issues like this. So you should remove the motheboard form the case, and make sure there are no stand-offs contacting the board where there is no screwhole and be sure there are no loose screws.
Since you have the board out of the case, you should set it on a piece of cardboard and test the setup OUTSIDE the case to eliminate the possibility of a short causing the problem.
If it still does not work outside the case, then it is simply a process of elimination to determine which component has failed.
But my money is on a short considering there are no beep codes.
Have your tried booting to safe mode and adjusting the screen resolution?
