I'm on the pill and, for the last two days, have been taking an antibiotic. For obvious reasons, I was thinking about taking the "morning after" pill just to be on the safe side. Would it be safe to take the morning after pill AND keep my regular birth control schedule?
Any input or past experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

You need to use extra protection, but not all antibiotics interact with the pill. The morning after pill has side effects. It's not a pleasant process. If you use condoms you'll be fine. You can ask your gyno to be sure.
Just use a condom as backup. I'm not sure if you stay on your regular birth control schedule or not after takign plan B, as it's a huge dose or hormones. That's something you'd need to ask the pharmacist or person prescribing the emergency contraception.
detrimental thought. while you're actual in choose of the morning after pill then the ought to get it outstanding and secure must be paramount. Taking an untried cocktail would have distinctive area outcomes and on the tip of the day you nonetheless do no longer understand that its going to paintings.
Why not just use condoms for the rest of the cycle? Much cheaper, and won't mess up your hormones so much.
