So I have been on birth control for a little while, I'm almost done all the tablets from my First pack. For the first little bit I was having troubles maintaining the time of day I take them , but for the last week or so I've been taking then right at 9 PM because of an alarm I set to remind me. me and my boyfriend usually have protected sex (condom) but just yesterday we didn't use a condom for the first time and he pulled out, but just incase, am I fine? or does not taking the pill at the right time over a week ago effect this? reminder again for the last week I've been taking them at the exact same time. never missed a day.

What kind of pill are you taking, a combination pill or a progesterone-only/mini-pill? And how far off in time are we talking? These are important details.
When it comes to efficacy, the combination pill is more effective than the mini-pill, and the window of "leeway" in the combination pill is greater in terms of taking it the same time everyday. Most combination pills have a 12-hour window of efficacy. Meaning that as long as you take it within 12 hours of the time you are supposed to take it, it will still be effective. Take it later than that 12-hour window and the efficiency is reduced. Most mini-pills on the other hand only have a 3-hour window of efficacy, so if you're on a mini-pill it's VERY important to take that pill the same time everyday.
If you were late taking your pills, but still managed to taken them within the window of efficacy for your given type of pill, you should be safe. But keep an eye on your cycle, all the same. The pull-out method isn't 100% effective, either, so don't rely on this as a method. And continue taking your pills the same time everyday!
