ok so i am kind of confused when it comes to my sexuality. i know you shouldn't care about labels, but i like knowing exactly what i am, and having a name for it, you know?
so here is my question: is only being sexually attracted to men but being both emotionally and sexually attracted to women way more than men still make you bi, or are you a lesbian?
i really don't get too emotionally attached with guys. when i kiss a guy i get really apprehensive and don't want to do it at first, but then after i do it it feels nice. but with a girl i look forward to do it and it feels nice and i am not apprehensive at all.
so could i be bi but just like women way more, or lesbian? i'm really not sure. thanks :)
Update:ohh and i sometimes get these tiny crushes on guys, but it's really nothing. i basically only start to like a guy if i think he likes me. and the feelings only last for a few weeks.

Well, in a dictionary's definition sense, sexuality isn't a matter of mild vs. strong or emotional factors. If you get turned on by both guys and girls, no matter how little, you're bi. If you're female and ONLY get turned on by girls, you're lesbian.
That said, reality's more blurry. Sexual preference is more of a sliding scale than a few strict categories. Some are strictly straight. Others are militantly gay. Some are perfectly bi. But frankly, MOST people TREND in a certain direction. In that sense, most people are actually bi!
To put it another way, let's put this on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being completely gay (just the thought of being naked with the opposite gender is gross), 10 being completely straight (ditto for same gender) and perfectly bi being a 5. I'd say you're about a 3 or so, but only you can be more accurate here. If you'd rather have a term than a number, call yourself bi trending lesbian, or bi that prefers women, something like that.

You could be either. if u want to have sex with a man and a girl then you are bi, but if you only want to have sex with women then you are a lesbian. and theres a difference between likling guys, sometimes i want girls to like me because i jus like the feeling of being liked, but im still gay, i jus have a very big ego. so that could be it too. doesnt change the fact that im gay jus cause i like girls to like me lol. goodluck.

You are just like me, i have debated this often as well and i have came to the conclusion that i am bi but just like women more. Alot of Bisexuals "lean"one way more than the other. Hope i helped =)
