Simply by flossing. I had that same problem and I starting flossing because that's what my orthodontist told me to do. Within a week it was starting to look way better and less swollen. So yes. Just floss. And brush more. No one likes stinky breaths. Don't forget to rinse with mouthwash also. It will kind speed up the healing process.
Unfortunately brushing and flossing is all you can do. I had the same problem with braces and those were the only things that helped at all. It actually got a whole lot better once they came off so maybe yours will too!
Well the obvious nswer would be to brush them and use products like listerine to help the process out. Furthermore, try to avoid eating food that will be counterintuitive to your brushing such as candy and other sweets. Take care of your teeth so they can return the favor.
Try and find a mouthwash that is suited to healthy gums. Toothpaste and mouthwash that say "stops gum disease" and "for healthy gums". That kinda stuff
