Recently I started using Corel Painter 12 to do digital art.

After about halfway through an artwork, I had to pause, so I saved and closed the file.

A few days later when I reopened the file, I found dark lines, smudges and flaws on my painting where they were not there the last time.

The quality of the line art had also dropped drastically, and some of the colours looked speckled.

Is this a problem with the software?
