I was in the most ridiculous accident a few days ago...
Just a completely stupid thing, luckily nobody was injured.
The other persons vehicle suffered some crazy damage, while my own vehicle just has a busted bumper cover and right headlight.
My and my fiancee are hoping to be able to off-set some of the expense by doing most of the repairs on our own.
The whole front cover is a write-off... including the plate holder, grill etc.
We own an '02 Sentra SE-R, I'm not sure if the cover comes in seperate pieces as one big piece?
And how difficult is it to fix one ones own?
I am also curious to know approx. how much it'll cost?

If you go to a dealer, you will pay an arm for the cover, and two legs for the headlights. Try a salvage yard that specializes in late model vehicles. If you have to paint the bumper cover yourself and do not have the right equipment, some automotive paint shops can match your paint& put it in an aerosol can. Be sure to use an adhesion promoter on the plastic first.(also found at paint store). I bought a grill recently for my sentra from the dealer, and it wasn't too bad.($78) Also bring a good supply of cuss words, because you will always find more hidden damage and stripped bolts/plastic fasteners
