As for the title, I'd say it's kind of misleading based off of what I'm about to say but I want to buy a camera but can't because I can't afford it. Main reason why I want a camera is for better quality videos, although I found out about "clip-on lenses" for your phone and I've seen those do pretty good quality for your phone. I want to buy some clip on lens for my phone to record videos and stuff but not sure as to which is the best one to get, I have an Android Phone. Just comment below links to ones that you personally think are the best. Thanks!
Update:And yes I know, a camera clip on lens won't be as good as an actual DSLR camera. I know. I never said I wanted to do this as a replacement or anything. A good DSLR camera is out of my price range and pretty much still want good quality on my videos just don't want to spend so much money.

First there are some guidelines to improve smartphone video. Have you maximized all of these?

Usually your lighting is what causes poor video quality.
Some people on Amazon do video reviews and show you with/without the clip on lens's so go do some searching.
WARNING:
While we love video for the visual, we really absorb the information from the AUDIO. This is where most newbies fail. Over and over again I hear some of the Tech channels discuss cameras, then admit that the nice 4K cameras produce crappy videos if you use on-camera audio.
My guess is you would get more improvement if you did some DIY lighting, then improved your audio.
People will forgive low-res video (as long as it is stable and well lit), but not poor audio.
If you have a limited budget - look to improve your audio.
Hope this helps.
"Better" videos - in what way? What dissatisfies you about the videos you shoot at the moment? Clip-on lenses can indeed bring things closer (telephoto clip-ons), or give you an even wider view than the present lens in your phone cam. But do you need those wider or closer views?
Any good video shoot starts with brain work before even starting to grab hold of a camera. No clip-on lens will improve the technical quality of a video, it will only change the angle of view.
Those ads about "pro level" add-on lenses are all lies and self-promotion. There's NO add-on that gives you equal to or better quality than a Nikon, Canon, Sony, or Pentax dslr. Be aware that all the rave reviews and awards are generated by the companies themselves.
