Can a sinus congestion cause cataract-like symptoms?
I'm really worried. I don't have the money to see a doctor right away. I have difficulty with glare (often with bright sun or automobile headlights while driving at night).
well that's not cataracts. They cause darkening on the lens of the eye and inability to see properly.
It's not unusual to have problems with bright lights. A pair of glasses that darkens automatically in day time and night driving glasses specially for that condition is what my son had to go to. His eyes were tested for light sensititvity and found to be overly sensitive.
I will tell you that I had cataracts and night time driving was horrible. Now that I've had the surgery, I can drive at night. So, even though someone wrote that it is not cataracts, I disagree, I say it is.

Well your sinus are above and below your eyes and can affect sight, but a precursor to cataracts, I doubt it.
If you have a family doctor, you might be able to get some guidance without going in.
