I need to know if a SNES can play NES games.
Bonus: For 10 points, can a Nintendo 64 play SNES and NES? What about just SNES? What about just NES? I need to know if a N64 can play SNES and/or NES games...

None of those systems are backwards compatible. Meaning SNES won't play NES games and N64 won't play SNES or NES games. You have to have the system you want to play the games on. You can buy a NES clone system though, you don't have to have the original (I think the patent or license is up). So 3rd party companies can build systems that play original NES games. I don't think there are any 3rd party SNES or N64 systems but google it, you may find something. You can always use emulators and have the games on your PC.

SNES cannot play NES games. The cartridges are different sizes.
N64 cannot play NES or SNES games. Again, different sizes. The N64 cartridge slot is too small for the NES/SNES cartridges.
