I've been having deja vu experiences since my teenage years, recently they're ocurring more often and frequent. most recent twice in one week. Can anyone explain the reasons you have these experiences? (im interested in both spiritual and scientific explanations)

these happens maybe because of a certain urge or excitement over something like an event. . . (this is scientifically speaking, it needs a lot of coincidence)
whereas in the spiritual approach, these happens because our late relatives/friends is sort of trying to warn us of these events or trying to tell us something. . . another one maybe because of witches/fortuntelers probably that interferes accidentally with our dreams/thinking...
that is what i think
Well, we all have deja vu, but some people have them a lot. Most times I do (not recently). I was told that they could be dreams that you had and when you woke up you didn't remember them and they came to life. Others say is like being psychic in a way but you can only predict what is going to happen next unless you recognize the situation. Sometimes I have deja vu in a conversation and I play around by saying something different from what I was suppose to say.
I read this explanation somewhere and found it quite interesting. Its says that there are many other dimension in our world. And another dimension is traveling faster than the one you are in in terms of time. And because there is another you in that dimension, there are possibilities that your mind get switched to the other time frame and experience a certain event. And when your mind come back to the current dimension, you go through the same event again and thus the feel of deja vu. Sounds cool? Hee hee XD Not sure how true this theory is and neither can i rmb where i heard it from. But it beats saying that i dreamt it up...
I personally attribute deja vu to having already seen what's going on. Mainly, I think I see things in my dreams, and then forget them. But when the deja vu kicks in, it's like remembering part of the dream I forgot.
According to my psychology teacher, he said that your brain constantly looks for similarities in things, and that that causes deja vu.
Both work.
The only explanation I have ever received that made any sense was that it means your life is on track... I find deja vu fascinating, and annoying, as well!!
Yes, Sometimes you dream or have had a similar experience before. Maybe from a past life..... or maybe we all have a sixth sense. I have had deja vu many times before and it feels like you have actualy did it before. Its wierd.
well they happen to everybody, scientifically i think it goes something like when you see something (you are seeing its reflection, its not really the real thing you're seeing), your brain makes a track of it & plays it for you, in deja vu, your brain accidently makes that track twice causing you to think it happened before.
spiritually one theory is that something happened similar to what you're doing at the moment in your past life so it feels like it happened in a dream, hmm sounds soo freaky! lol!
It's a misfiring of neurons in the brain (whatever that means). Basically the brain messes up and processes new data as old data.
It's a glitch in the Matrix!
yea, i could of swore u asked this question already! weird?
