I have a photography project and I need to make three 35mm slides for an old-school projector. I don't think I can get them processed in time, so I was thinking of printing on transparencies instead, and re-size the images to fit a 35mm frame. Would it display the images correctly, or will I have to use actual slide film?

Unlikely. Both resolution and density of a slide are much larger than anything you could hope to achieve with a printer. Try it, but I'd guess at most the projected images will be colourless and grainy. Another problem might be temperature - slides may get hot.
No certainly, you ought to purchase slide action picture. many human beings used to (and that i assume some nevertheless do) use slide action picture besides, as Fujichrome Velvia especially grew to become into incredibly fantastically saturated, etc. Made for large nature photos. yet in answer on your question, you may no longer make slides from ordinary 35mm action picture. Any action picture ending with "-chrome" is a slide action picture. i desire to propose Fujichrome Sensia.
You should find out how much time it would take to get the slides processed and back. I have a local lab that's overnight (that day if I'm lucky), but not everyone has that luxury.
The problem will be getting a print to match the color intensity and detail of the film. It is certainly worth a try, but you'd best get to printing and try it out before you turn in the work!
