my computer is getting very slow and old... i saved all my inporten files on CDs and the internet... but how can i RESTART the untire computer... should i restart when its turns on?( Press f10 to recover computer) or is there a safer way? yes, you can do that, assuming it is HP, Gateway, or Compaq (also HP) this will restore off of the partition, if it is a Toshiba, eMachine, Sony, or some other brands, it will have come with some CD that will allow you to do this. They are usually labeled recovery disc. either way you want to completley reformat the computer, and not just replace the system files, or whatever asks. This way it will be completley fresh.
