Yeah Dell's are generally pretty good at running OSX. Make a Boot 132 loader CD, and install from the retail DVD. Print an Apple sticker and glue it if the legal stuff worries ya. I have been running OSX 10.5.8 on my HP laptop for over a year. Never a minute of trouble and 100% working. ( I bought a Macbook Pro and then sold it again becos the HP was faster and had a better touchpad!) Might install the Snow Leopard next week.

You may not realize this, but part of the EULA of OS X requires that you agree not to use OS X on non-Apple hardware.
So the answer to that is "yes", but we can't talk about it on Yahoo! Answers, since it's a TOS violation.
Just, uh, use Google to check if your hardware is compatible before trying. Then get help elsewhere.
